Hello, I just got Blitz3D and decided to have a look at the samples. The thing is the samples load and run fine, but I can't see any code. Am I going blind, or perhaps doing something wrong, or is meant to be like that?

SheepOnMintSauce(Posted 2005) [#2]
Infact, I just realised it's not that the code isn't showing up. It's any text in the editor screen, I can't even type into it! Any ideas anyone?

I seem to vaguely recall someone else having this problem which was fixed by something as simple as a reboot?

Have you tried rebooting?

Oh...Welcome to Blitz, BTW. :o)

This is a known problem but I can't remember how to fix it - never had the problem myself.

Someone will be along shortly who does remember how to fix it, I'm sure. :)

In the mean time, have you tried downloading the lastest blitz3D updates (there's a separate forum with these in) and rebooting your PC?

Curse my bad memory! :P

Are you using the default IDE?
There's this...

Wasn't it a problem with the icons being 16 bit or something?

SheepOnMintSauce(Posted 2005) [#7]
Ah yes, now I think the old reboot did the trick. It's working now anyway. Very odd that. =)

Ooh, and thanks for the welcome, and yes I'd already updated to the newest version. As for the 16bit icons thing, I'm running my desktop at 32bit, so I'm sure it wasn't that.
