Hi all, As blitzcc.exe is a c compiler, could we write c program with it? Sammy |
| ||
BlitzCC Isnt a C compiler at all, its a Blitz compiler :) |
| ||
As blitzcc.exe is a c compiler Where'd you get that idea? ADDITION: I suppose the name is a bit misleading. But, er, isn't it kinda obvious? Also, why? If you wanted to program in C, why would you buy Blitz? |

Holy basic underlying misconceptions Batman! |

Weird! I distinctly remember someone asking the exact same question not so long ago on this very board!? Deja vu or are we just reliving the past? Andy |

Hi all, Unfortunately, I am NOT that guy. I just ask this question due to curiousity. (It seems that "blitzcc" equals to "blitz C Compiler")Maybe I am wrong. Just a discussion. By the way, in my opinion, new discoveries always come from crazy ideas. Otherwise, there are no airplanes and shuttles today, if men do not want to fly in the sky. Do you agree? Thanks in advance. (It seems that "blitzcc" equals to "blitz C Compiler" Blitz Command-line Compiler :) |

new discoveries always come from crazy ideas That's true I suppose, but thinking that blitzcc is a C compiler doesn't exactly qualify as a revolutionary idea. For future reference, it would have been better to ask "What is blitzcc?" than to just assume a purpose for it and then ask a question based on that assumption. |

Agreed! Thanks Sammy |

I seem to remember that the OLD Blitzbasic on the Amiga, had the ability to add assembly language code and assemble it. |
| ||
ISTR that too. Assembly on the Amiga was fairly easy, compared to x86 ;) |

Will this do? It still won't allow you to compile C code, but it will make you a good cuppa! http://www.latazzadoro.de/EspressoFrame.html?Produkte/TM853_BlitzCC_Grau.htm~seite Andy |
