I guess xsi is better. And i think irrlicht or cipher is not a thing one would simply "add", but you can try.

How about to show us some screenies of what you've got so far?

Is B3d multiserver capable?


Hmm.. only a guess, but are you quite new to programming? Might be an idea to start at a lower level. If you can grasp Blitz3d, which is based on DX7, then you're doing well. Directx7 is still very powerful.

As far as modelling packages, your best bet is to go with the one you are most comfortable with, but you should also look at the different art paths available to you. Getting your media into any engine is no small task.

Out of the 2 modeling products what is the best

1)Gamespace
2)SoftImage XSI Foundation



XSI of course. GameSpace is quite lightweight compared to XSI. But GS is also cheaper (300 vs 500 US$) and has built-in .B3D export. TrueSpace has also horrible GUI, or at least used to have.
