I keep getting this error. ( i already posted on bugs, and emailed for assistance.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Blitz3D\bin\blitzcc.exe

abnormal program termination

AND

Runtime Error
Memory access violation

The last programs I installed were:
Visual Basic 6
Direct X 9 SDK
Visual C++ 6

Does b3d require a certain version of Direct X or something? any clues?

I get abnormal program terminations occasionally. Closing down and restarting blitz seems to fix it.

Floyd(Posted 2004) [#3]
I think this sort of thing can happen when you install the DirectX SDK and use the Debug version of the DX runtime. Other people have reported some kind of conflict with Blitz3D, although I can't recall the details.

BlitzSupport(Posted 2004) [#4]
Yeah, like Floyd says, I believe using the debug DX9 runtime is a no-go, whereas the release version should be fine.

CodeD(Posted 2004) [#5]
how do i remove the debug runtime?? They're already in my registry and system32 folder. How do I uninstall/unregister the sdk version? The installer doesn't seem to have an uninstall option.
