Blits lighting and shadowmaps

Something thats being very annoying is the fact that when I load a B3d file thats been lightmapped (cartography shop 4) and then create lights in my game to do things like explosions, gunfire etc. it does not light the lightapped polys. is this something to do with the texture or brush properties. Someone help please as my explosions look crap without lighting the walls! |

This has been explained million times before; lightmaps are pre-calculated (static) lighting that works only if you disable other lights. If you allow real-time lights to affect your lightmapped level it will look crap, not cool.
