OK so I want to make a level and it is probably going to be middle complex... Which is the best format to create the level mesh in? And is there a way to create a "modular" level and flota pieces around to mix up the level??? -Rook |

And is there a way to create a "modular" level and flota pieces around to mix up the level??? You can do whatever tickles your fancy.Your question is a bit vague. I doubt that there is a 'best'. More like some things are better for certain situations. |

What I mean is: Which format is best for creating a medium/large game level because it uses less memory time to render out? You know small footprint etc. I guess the question was vague because it wasn't specific... (thats politician talk) Really this is a generic question about detail/size. Lets assume a level with moderate detail and medium size and say only 45 textures... You know 3D about 4 years ago... -RZ |

As far as I know there ain't a big difference, when Blitz have loaded it, you can't even tell what file format it was, so go with whatever you like the best. |
