B3D viewer?

Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Beginners Area/B3D viewer?

Greetings,

Can someone please tell me if there's a way to view .b3d files? I'd like to be able to view a .b3d file and check out any animations, naming conventions, individual entity names, etc.

I've searched everywhere and I can't seen to find anything that does this!

you could modify the mediaview program used by blitz (C:\Program Files\Blitz3D\mediaview & C:\Program Files\Blitz3D\bin\mediaview.exe)

yeah I could do that, if I had any idea what I was doing! ;-)

Seriously, I can't believe there isn't a utility out there (like Deep Exploration) that will let me load up a .b3d file and quickly view surface atributes, entities, polycount, etc.

I think there is... can't remember who wrote it, and it wasn't free.

Doesn't do surface attributes or polycounts yet(the info is there though so will be easy to add this later) but will allow you to view .b3d models their hierarchy and their animations - you can also create your own animations. I will be releasing a later version soon with joint/skeleton creation and vertex assignment:
