Hello, I just want to make sure that when I make a game that it will work for example on a modern machine. I ask you guys this because I know that Blitz3D Is based on an older direct x (7), anyway, Any answer would be nice. While I'm here though I shall ask if you guys know of any modeling programs that are easy. Because I want to keep myself occupied when I am still learning the advanced program known as blender . Anim8or seems pretty good, but are there any other programs? I don't care about the look or quality, I just want ease of use.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, works with Windows 10. The user will just be prompted to download directplay but that's just about it.

Blender is a great tool, lots of tutorials on YT

I use Fragmotion for modeling, unwrapping, texelsfilling, uvmapping, 3dpainting, rigging, skinning, animating. Very good tool imo and the Blitz3d exporter is accurate.

There is a .an8 to .b3d converter if you want (with joints/bones, weights, animations) : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/philippe.c/installation/an8tob3d.exe

the only issues i've ever come across transfering to different computers etc.
was older laptops that didn't support 3d, anything past like 2000 should.
And some laptops and computers are limited to the display resolution they can use. So stick to the standard ones and you should be good.
