Is there anyway to get Quill3D working again?

Didn't it have some sort of protection, a dongle or something? If not then maybe you could use an old version of Blitz3D. The ones available here only go back to 1.64 which may not be old enough. As I recall the author sold the program and the company that bought it is defunct. You should probably look for less moribund alternative.
