format .3ds in Blitz3D

Hello
I would like to know if there is a possibility to write object (mesh) in 3ds format in Blitz3D as is the case with b3d format.?

And by the way is also able to write animation? Because the b3d I have such a possibility.

I don't know. You have to look at that code and see if it deals with animation.

The B3D format supports both skeletal and hierarchical animation.
I believe the 3DS format only supports hierarchical.

Use the Animated ".X" code. It's your BEST bet if you want multi-support for multiple game engines! :)

Thanks for the reply! but Guy Fawkes if I so beautiful suggest this format.X can you give me a hint how to save in this format for both static and animation objects?
