| So, have you noticed Windows 10? I tried it without knowing what to expect, expecting a minor tweak up from 8.1 but noo. For the first time Microsoft seem to build their OS around QUALITY and also around OpegnGl and caring about their work. I´ve never seen windows smooth, I don´t think so, not util Window 10 entered my machine. I´m in a schock. They even fixed their own old API´s such as DirectX7 and onwards. This also means Blitz3D suddenly worked even better than it did back in 2001. BlitzMax and Monkey runs as butter in OpenGL. Both DX7 and the latest OpenGL works equally well for the first time. I remember there was a time 2005-2014 when things got all broken for a while with DX7. Everything graphical seem to share the same underpinnings now. |

| It's true, things are getting better. I've been getting increasingly pessimistic for years, but lately I've been pleasantly surprised by a lot of things, even music. Just lookup Super special by Kagami. I'm using Windows 10 now. I still miss the look of Windows 98, and Xp in classic mode, but overall it's definitely a huge improvement over recent versions. |
