| I downloaded the GE map for my macbook and it is insanely slow. Does anyone know a tweak for this as i need it for a project i am working on. By slow i mean it is taking AGES to render detail and the whole interface feels clunky and laggy..... and this is on an i7 Mac with a 100Mbit connection. The same mac running windows (and my android tablet and phone on same connection) works uber smooth. It is annoying rebooting to use it. Last edited 2013 |

| Hmm. It runs blindly smooth on my i7 Mini (10.7.5), fullscreen at 1920 x 1200. |

| You left out all the important facts then! :-p What's your memory cache set to? What happens when you clear it? etc... Last edited 2013 |

| Fresh reboot, cache is whatever the default is for 8 gigs. |
