There was some talk a while ago about alternative IDEs for BlitzMax on the Mac - even a suggestion of integrating BlitzMax into the XCode IDE. Has there been any progress? I'm using the BlitzMax Community Edition wishing for the little extras that BLIde has.

Well, I'm slowly working on full Xcode integration - I think it's the best solution for OS X hosted development, but I'm afraid I haven't been able to spend any more time on it since my last post on the topic.

Anyway, I intend to post a tutorial when I eventually get it all working - probably not on this site, but at least a link to it.

Sweet. That is great news. I too am looking forward to it. I mean, I would use TextEdit if I had to, but it's nice to be spoiled.

Count me in as a tester. I am interested. If you wanna forward information on what you are doing maybe others can help out.

Xcode integration is very atractive.

PLS

Yah sounds good. Would love to be able to create a real Mac screensaver still using BlitzMax.
