Hello! I have created a fast image viewer for Mac OS X in Blitzmax, and it is currently on SourceForge (along with source code). I want it to be the fastest image viewer on Mac, even faster that Apple Preview or CocoViewX.

Link to sourceforge projet page:

Anybody using Mac OS X could download and give it a try, and post some feedback. That would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
This post is also in 'Blitz Showcase' forum and can be found here:

Hi remz,

I just downloaded it and took a very quick look at it. Nice start!

And here comes the criticism:
No Intel/Universal binary - that really needs to be changed. But even though, it -is- fast in Rosetta. :)

Even though you put it under LGPL, there is no source code coming with (but the availability of the source code, according to the license, is a MUST).

The application is not Mac-like, but reminds of a typical (command prompt) PC application --> gazillion of keyboard shortcuts that need to be remembered, not intuitive to use, no simple and straightforward GUI. Mac users don't use their keyboard, and they certainly do not use the second mouse button. They also do not use MDI applications, if it can be avoided. Depending on the target audience, this can be a showstopper.

I hope you do not take this personal - you wanted some feedback, and these were my first impressions. I will take another look at it when I have more spare time.
