Anybody know of a way to create b3d files on the mac.

As far as I know, there ain't one. It's a format that is as far as my knowledge goes created exclusively for Blitz3D which is only for Windows. When it comes to BlitzMax, I don't know if they plan to support b3d files in their Max3D module.

I sincerely hope that with the Max3D module there will also be a cross-platform edition of programs like Maplet.

I could be wrong of course.
There might be some unofficial apps that could create B3D files, as well, but I don't know any of them.

Your best bet is to create your models in Wings3D, save them as .3ds, then when you get a chance use UltimateUnwrap on the PC to texture them and export them as .b3d.

Shame UltimateUnwrap isn't available on the Mac.
