I recommend downloading it with a mac... Since you've alreay tried that, tell me what version of OS X you're using and what browser... I didn't have any problem, and here is what I use:

OS X 10.3.8 with Safari 1.2.4(v125.12) for the browser... works fine...
if the problem remains, try configuring Safari's preferences...

also, what version of Stuffit Expander do you have on your mac?

It sounds like a mime problem with the .sit file extension with Internet Explorer. I would try using Safari to download the file.

will do...

thx

agreed... IE is NOT your friend on OS X... Safari or FireFox are much much better :)

thx guys... the problem was indeed on my end... old version of Stuffit Expander...

so i updated that...

and, i updated to 10.2.8 and got Safari in the deal so i could look at it, as advised... and it does seem a bit more 'responsive' than IE.

thanks again for the help... its been a while since i've been really working with the mac and i'm a lil rusty... taking a week to get back into PB and coding.
