If I download Mac software on my internet connected PC, can I just transfer it to Mac via CD?

MRaven(Posted 2005) [#2]
Sure or via network, lan, email, whatever...

OK - wasn't sure if there was some file system incompatibility.

Thanks m8.

Yup it's okay just as long as you don't decompress the software on your PC first. There can sometimes be problems with the resource fork which isn't compatible on windows, but yeah in general it's fine.

I recommend one of those little usb keys.

You can get 1Gig ones which hold more than a CD.

Quick, portable & saves CD's

Yeah, the USB keys are very handy indeed for this sort of thing if you can't set up a LAN connection between them.

I got an e-mail from support that said I could get a beta release of the PC version of blitzmax once registered. I can't even find the OSX version now that I did :). Anyone know? I got the direct link to the OSX version so I'm okay with that one..

Thanks,
Alex
