Can I dual Ubuntu with my existing Linux Mint installation?

RAM: 5.7 gigs
CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 2.30GHz × 4
GPU: Intel HD Graphics
OS Type: x64
Disk: 633.1 gigs

Yes you can Dual boot any OS. You would have to partition your hard drives. As Linux installers give you options to do this, but I would advise you to search the web on how to do this as you can screw up you partition table and render any data on there useless or hard to repare. It's best if you practice with trying dual booting under virtual box just to get the hang of it.

as the "Most current version" i actually use for win-development is xp ...

install windows OS before any others (xp and prior ignore other installed OS and overwrite their bootmanager).

installing linux after windows is no problem.
