I've downloaded v1.18 of BMax to try in my VMWare FC4.... here goes....

I presume these files are within the compressed tar file:

- Development Tools
- X Software Development
- Legacy Software Development

I've gotta burn my 11MByte download to CD to import it to my version of FC4 which runs within VMWare.

Anyways, got this far:-

extracted fine. Next, upon trying to run MaxIDE got libstdc++.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Have printed off the HOWTO: FedoraCore4 sticky, need to see if I have 3.3 installed as opposed to gcc 4.0. If so, then
tried this to no avail , same error

$ ln -s /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.4 /usr/lib/stdc++.so.5
