I managed to get things compiling/linking, but it's so slow when it runs it's unsable. No way it's my card, geforce7400go.

I'm using Ubuntu, i opened up synaptic and installed the nvidia drivers, then went to enable them as suggested,

sudo nvidia-glx-config enable

but on doing so i get this response,
Error: unable to load nvidia kernel driver! Be sure to have installed
the nvidia driver for your running kernel.

I've did some googling and it may be because my Vaio has two gpus, a intel for low priority gfx and the g7 for anything more stressful, and that a solution is to inform the os which you want to use. but the explination wasn't wrote with a newbie in mind.

Anyone got a vaio and been through this? Help a brother out. :)

Doesn't sound like it's supported yet and you're going to need to devote some serious linux hours if you want to get anywhere.

Perhaps swap it for a 360?
