IDE shuts down on any changes

| I installed Ubuntu Linux v 6.06 LTS. I managed after a few hours to get the accelerated nVidia drivers installed and get BlitzMAX installed, upgraded to v1.22, and syncmodded. I compiled a couple of the example programs and everything appears to work fine. Except for when I make any changes to the source code. When I do anything after the changes, try and save the file, try and compile the file, the IDE closes and none of the changes are saved. Any ideas what's wrong or where to check for problems? Edit: Found the problem. Write permission wasn't set for the files I was trying to modify. |
