Well, Linux has been around since the father, Linus Torvalds, brought it to market. However, one thing kept bothering me since I had Linux in my hands. I never could figure out what that penguin mascot stood for. It's a cool OS, and wish that it'd be more popular. However, there's more Windows flags than Penguins on the software boxes all over, ho-hum, gotta love these alternative OSes. Nice mascot, but did Mr. Torvalds HAVE to choose a penguin as its promoter? What's really behind that winged tux?
