ok. i have been completely amazed with how easy xandros has been. thank you to whoever mentioned on a side comment that it was easy :) i am up and running building BMAX Irrlicht project in it and have also been able to rebuild the Irrlicht project itself without a hitch. ok. so whats the problem bud? well... the wonderful world of linux is the problem :)
i have an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M. there are linux drivers available but not for xandros specifically. on ATIs website it states that in order to get 3D acceleration you need to compile the drivers against the kernel. now, this is specific to ATI but im sure its the same for other manufacturers as well. my question is, has anyone running xandros successfully built and installed a video driver and if so, would be willing to share the steps? i would hate to destroy a perfectly good running install of a linux system.
